  22.  We've been cleaning up the last few remaining bugs in WinEdit and
  23.  adding a few features.  Wordwrap has finally made it in.  Enjoy.

  25.  Both the setup program and WinEdit are now "Protect-Mode" only
  26.  applications.  Neither will run in Windows 3.0 real mode.

  121.  SOFTWARE LICENSE

  123.  WinEdit is not and has never been public domain 
  124.  software, nor is it free software. 
  125.  
  126.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use WinEdit
  127.  on a 21-day trial basis for the purpose of determining 
  128.  whether WinEdit is suitable for their needs.  The use 
  129.  of WinEdit, except for the initial 21-day trial, 
  130.  requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of WinEdit,
  131.  outside of the initial 21-day trial, by any person, 
  132.  business, corporation, government agency or any other entity is 
  133.  strictly prohibited.

  135.  A single user license permits a user to use WinEdit
  136.  only on a single computer.  Licensed users may use the
  137.  program on different computers, but may not use the program
  138.  on more than one computer at the same time.

  140.  No one may modify or patch the WinEdit executable files 
  141.  in any way,  including but not limited to decompiling, 
  142.  disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program.

  144.  A limited license is granted to copy and distribute WinEdit 
  145.  only for the trial use of others, subject to the above 
  146.  limitations, and also the following:

  148.   1)    WinEdit must be copied in unmodified form, complete
  149.         with the file containing this license information.

  151.   2)    The full machine-readable WinEdit documentation must
  152.         be included with each copy.

  154.   3)    WinEdit may not be distributed in conjunction with
  155.         any other  product with out a specific license to do so
  156.         from Wilson WindowWare.

  158.   4)    No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested or
  159.         accepted, except as authorized below:

  161.         A) Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (sysops)
  162.            may make WinEdit available for downloading only as
  163.            long as the above conditions are met.  An overall or
  164.            time-dependent charge for the use of the bulletin board
  165.            system is permitted as long as there is not a specific
  166.            charge for the download of WinEdit.

  168.         B) Vendors of user-supported or shareware software approved by
  169.            the ASP may distribute WinEdit, subject to the
  170.            above conditions, without specific permission.  Non-
  171.            approved vendors may distribute Windows Reminder only after
  172.            obtaining written permission from Wilson WindowWare.
  173.            Such permission is usually granted.  Please write for
  174.            details (enclose your catalog).  Vendors may charge a
  175.            disk duplication and handling fee, which, when pro-rated
  176.            to the WinEdit product, may not exceed eight dollars.

  178.         C) Non-profit user groups may distribute copies of the 
  179.            WinEdit diskette to their members, subject to 
  180.            the above conditions, without specific permission.  
  181.            Non-profit groups may collect a disk duplication fee 
  182.            not to exceed five dollars.

  184.   LIMITED WARRANTY

  186.   Wilson WindowWare guarantees your satisfaction with this
  187.   product for a period of 90 days from the date of original
  188.   purchase.  If you are unsatisfied with WinEdit
  189.   within that time period, return the package in saleable
  190.   condition to the place of purchase for a full refund.

  192.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that all disks provided are
  193.   free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  194.   normal use, for a period of 90 days from the date of
  195.   purchase.

  197.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that the program will perform
  198.   in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  199.   with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  200.   the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
  201.   product for a refund.  In no event will such a refund
  202.   exceed the purchase price of the product.

  204.   EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, WILSON WINDOWWARE DISCLAIMS ALL
